Breathing apparatus, escape kits and stretchers are
items people generally associate with the emergency
services not an industrial supplier. But the addition
of these products to MacGregor's Plant Hire division
underlines the company's drive to ensure its clients
are kept at the forefront of their industries with
the very latest in health and safety gear however
hazardous the conditions be it offshore, confined
spaces or tunnels. And not only do the Hire team supply
these products, they can also calibrate safety gas
monitors in-house which ensures the customer is fully
equipped to the highest level as quickly and as efficiently
as possible.
The Hire division has been an integral part of the
MacGregor business for ten years. The department has
expanded rapidly and now services hire contracts as
far afield as Ghana, Russia and Brazil.
The division provides hire equipment for welding,
pipe working, power and distribution, shot blasting
and painting, plus heating, cooling, air moving and
fume extraction.
There is also equipment for sawing, cutting, woodworking,
compressed air, pumping, lighting, breaking, drilling
and fixing, cleaning and floorcare, ladders and surveying,
specialist lighting for hazardous working areas, 1KVA
to 100KVA generators, and 3KW to 160KW heaters.
The Hire division provides almost any type of equipment
for any purpose.
