From corporate clothing for office staff to high visibility jackets for workmen resurfacing Scotland's roads, to sterile and disposable clothing for the food and medicinal industries,  MacGregor Industrial Supplies Workwear division supplies them all. With over a £1/2million worth of stock instore, the department has come a long way from its early days occupying a few shelves it shared with other departments.

There are over a hundred different styles of footwear including leading brands such as Himalayan, Dickies, Jerzees, Tranemo, Portwest, Timberland & Caterpillar, in the North's largest selection of Industrial Footwear.

MacGregor Industrial Supplies has kept ahead of the game by stocking the latest workwear styles, materials, and colours which are far removed from the dull, shabby clothing that was common throughout the industrial sector only a few years ago.

Division manager, Wendy Heard, who joined MacGregors twelve years ago, explains: "Businesses now are much more corporate and image aware than they used to be. If workers look good and are tidy then it sends out the right message for the business they work for.

Corporate clothing contracts now represent a significant part of the MIS portfolio of business within the workwear department. As well as supplying the clothing, MacGregors also offer a logo service where employee names, departments, and titles can be printed or embroidered on workwear.

The division also supplies waterproof and weatherproof clothing, hard hats, high visibility clothing, clothing specifically for the food industry and safety footwear which are all conveniently on display in the main showroom. Given the Highland's unpredictable climate, warmwear jackets are in particular demand with top names such as Mascot, Sioen, Caterpillar, Timberland, Carhartt and Helly Hansen readily available.
