RAWL PLUG 100 YEARS
It has been 100 years since the Rawlings brothers changed the name of their family company and created The Rawlplug Company Ltd. Over the years, the Rawlings brothers drove around with show cars, also known as ‘Rawlplug Travelling Showrooms’ with display windows attracting attention from customers. Back in 1933 the travelling showroom set sail, taking several months at a time to show their reliable and comprehensive range of products travelling from as far as Iceland to Fiji.
Fast forward 100 years and the RawlTruck has begun to hit Europe, ready to travel 30,000 km to reach some of the biggest construction shows across the country. MacGregor Industrial Supplies are lucky enough to have Rawl visiting not one but two of our branches, which makes MIS two out of the only four Scottish stops for RawlPlug. On the 1st October RawlPlug will be visiting our head office in Inverness, along with Bosch, Makita and Milwaukee. On October 2nd, they will be helping us to host our largest supplier open day to date in Aberdeen alongside 40 other suppliers.
The Rawltruck is prepared to provide you with a comprehensive product portfolio, with touch screens allowing you to browse the product categories and to access full product information, parameters and properties of the desired products. The truck will also demonstrate the services that complement their products, along with training courses that are delivered under their scheme. There is even a designated area where RawlPlug will let you test the tools to see how the products work in real-life application. You will also find their zone of effective POS exposure, and lastly their business zone where their specialist team can discuss construction industry related subjects with you.
