Hire Association Europe

Macgregor Industrial Supplies Ltd is a member of the Hire Association of Europe and as association members we share the common commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical business practice. The Association works to promote and raise the standards of service and ethical trading through the adoption of its Code of Conduct covering; Principles of Safety, Quality, Honesty, Fairness, Service and Insurance. Particular emphasis is placed on ensuring that equipment and products hired or rented by customers, or provided by a manufacturer or supplier, are in a safe condition and comply with all applicable laws, codes and regulations.

The Code of Conduct is a guideline and does not represent the entire scope of good conduct and ethical behaviour. No Code of Conduct can lay down detailed rules to cover every occasion. The effectiveness of the Association’s Code is dependent on the observance of its provisions in the spirit as well as the letter. Voluntary acceptance of the code by members is a powerful factor in maintaining and raising standards in the hire and rental industry. Guild of Architectural Ironmongers

MacGregor Industrial Supplies is a member of The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) – a UK trade association for architectural ironmongers, manufacturers and wholesalers of architectural ironmongery products. As a result, our Ironmongery and Fixings Division is further supported with specific technical advice, recent publications and kept updated with industry trends.

SSAIB (Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board)

The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) is a leading certification body for organisations providing security systems and services, fire detection and alarm systems, telecare systems and services, manned security services and monitoring services. Our Locksmiths and Security Systems Division are registered with SSAIB – to ensure compliance with the SSAIB Security Systems Criteria taking into account the requirements of the ACPOS Policy for provision of Police Response to Security Systems.

ISSA

As a member of ISSA, our Hygiene and Catering Division is kept informed on industry standards, publications and legislative updates that specifically focus upon the professional cleaning industry. It is through ISSA that our Hygiene and Catering team stays updated upon industry trends and regulations, enabling us to provide a professional and comprehensive service to our customers.

CHSA (Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association)

The CHSA represents all major manufacturers and distributors, from global multinationals and national networks to privately owned independent businesses. As a registered accredited distributor, our Hygiene and Catering division is committed to supplying products that fully meet the requirements of the CHSA Accreditation Scheme Standards, and submit regular audits to conform to the relevant Scheme Standard and CHSA Code of Practice.

CSSA (Cleaning & Support Services Association)

The NTTA sets the standards for the towing industry. Founded in 1975 as the Association of Trailer Manufacturers it has evolved into a wider, modern and dynamic body.
